The INclusive TrAIners project is now entering an exciting new stage with the launch of the pilot phase of its Open Educational Resources (OERs). This is a key moment in the project, where the training materials developed for Continuing Vocational Education and Training (CVET) trainers across Europe will be tested in real contexts, refined, and strengthened through the feedback of professionals like you.

We are now opening the call for participants who would like to actively take part in this pilot phase and contribute to shaping innovative educational resources focused on the ethical, inclusive, and responsible use of artificial intelligence in education. This is a unique opportunity to move from theory to practice and to directly influence how AI is integrated into vocational education and training across Europe.

We are especially keen to involve Continuous Vocational Education and Training (CVET) trainers who design and deliver training for adults and workers, as well as AI and digital education experts working with educational technologies, data, or AI systems who understand their pedagogical and ethical dimensions. We also warmly invite academics, researchers, and professionals in digital ethics, inclusion, or equality who can bring a critical perspective on the social impact of AI in education. Representatives of CVET organisations and training centres responsible for innovation, quality assurance, or digital transformation are also key actors in this phase, as are labour market and employment advisors working closely with evolving skills needs influenced by AI.

By joining the pilot phase, you will not only explore and test innovative training materials before they are finalised, but also help shape them through your insights and experience. You will become part of a European community of professionals committed to building a more inclusive, ethical, and forward-looking approach to digital education.

If you are passionate about education, innovation, and the responsible use of artificial intelligence, this is your moment to get involved. Join the INclusive TrAIners pilot phase and help us shape the future of AI in vocational education. Contact us now to take part.

The INclusive TrAIners project has officially begun work on its first development phase, focused on the creation of Open Educational Resources (OER) for Continuing Vocational Education trainers (CVET).

This milestone represents a key step toward the project’s overall goal: supporting continuous vocational education professionals in the ethical, inclusive, and pedagogically sound use of artificial intelligence and digital technologies in their teaching practices.

During this initial phase, the international consortium is collaborating on the design and planning of open educational materials that will be accessible, reusable, and adaptable. These resources are aimed at strengthening trainers’ competencies by providing practical tools that help them integrate digital innovation into their training activities, while maintaining a strong focus on inclusion, equity, and accessibility.

The development of these Open Educational Resources responds to the growing need for high-quality materials that support the digital transformation of the vocational education sector, while also promoting open access to knowledge and fostering cooperation among educational institutions across Europe.

Throughout this phase, project partners will work closely together to define key content areas, the pedagogical structure, and the methodological approaches of the resources. The aim is to ensure that the materials developed are useful both for experienced trainers and for those who are beginning to explore the use of new technologies in the classroom.

With the start of this work, INclusive TrAIners reinforces its commitment to more inclusive, innovative, and learner-centred education, contributing to the continuous improvement of vocational education and training in Europe.

On November 13th, DFA held in Vitoria-Gasteiz (Spain) the kick-off meeting marking the start of our initiative “Inclusive trAIners” on the ethical use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in CVET.

A key part of the meeting was dedicated to WP2 – INclusive TrAIners Open Training Platform. Partners explored how to design an inclusive and practical training platform for trainers. The discussions focused on creating open resources that promote responsible AI use while respecting learner privacy, autonomy, and diversity.

The sessions were highly interactive, giving partners the chance to exchange ideas, align objectives, and set clear milestones for the project. It was also a perfect opportunity to strengthen connections across Europe and build a foundation for long-term collaboration.

The kick-off in Vitoria-Gasteiz set a positive and energising tone for the project, marking the first step towards a future where AI enhances learning while upholding ethical standards.

A big thank you to DFA for their hospitality and to all the partners for their commitment and collaboration!
