Over the past few weeks, the INclusive TrAIners partnership has reached an exciting milestone by successfully delivering the pilot sessions of our training course on the ethical use of Artificial Intelligence in Continuing Vocational Education and Training (CVET) across all partner countries.
Bringing together trainers, educators and professionals from different backgrounds, these sessions represented much more than a simple course test. They provided an opportunity to exchange experiences, reflect on the opportunities and challenges that AI brings to education, and ensure that the training truly responds to the needs of those who will use it in their daily practice.
The pilot sessions were organised in both online and face-to-face formats, enabling partners to reach participants in a flexible and accessible way. Each session began with an initial assessment to explore participants’ existing knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and ethical AI before they engaged with the course materials.
Participants then explored the training modules, discovering practical approaches to integrating AI into vocational education while promoting ethical principles, inclusion and responsible digital innovation. After completing the course, they took part in a final evaluation and shared their feedback on the learning experience, highlighting strengths as well as suggesting valuable improvements that will help us further refine the training programme.
The insights gathered during this pilot phase are invaluable. Every idea, every suggestion and every discussion has contributed to making the course more relevant, practical and impactful for CVET professionals across Europe.
As Artificial Intelligence continues to reshape education and the world of work, preparing educators to use these technologies responsibly has never been more important. Together, we are building a future where innovation is guided by ethics, inclusion and human values, ensuring that AI becomes a tool that empowers educators, enriches learning and creates opportunities for everyone.
A huge thank you to everyone who took part in the pilot sessions. Your enthusiasm, commitment and constructive feedback are helping transform this course into a resource that will support trainers across Europe in embracing AI with confidence, responsibility and purpose.
